Bhola Shankar is a Telugu movie which is a remake of the 2015 Tamil movie Vedalam. The lead actor of Vedalam was Ajith Kumar. This film has just been released in theaters and on Netflix. This film is of approximately 2 hrs 40 min. The remake of an 8 year old movie could have been done even better.

Bhola Shankar Review: Positive Points
South’s Megastar Chiranjeevi can do anything to please and entertain his fans and wants to present the movie to the audience with the best acting. In this film also he expects mass appeal from his fans. Chiranjeevi has tried to perform his best acting in this movie too and his action and emotional scenes are okay.
Tamannaah Bhatia can also be seen in her gorgeous avatar in this film. Her screen presence in this film is for a very short time but she tries to give her best.
Kerthy Suresh has played the character of Chiranjeevi’s sister in this film. Her performance in this film is not that special. she needed to work a little harder. But she has played the emotional scenes well in this movie.
The action sequences and cinematography of this movie are also good. The Hindi dubbing of this movie is good. There is no nudity and vulgar scenes in this film.
Bhola Shankar Review: Negative Points
As you know, this film is a remake of the 2015 film Vedalam. So something new could be expected to be seen in this movie. But nothing new has been shown in it. If a little more effort had been put into its story, the film would have been more engaging to the audience. This film is not the least bit captivating for the audience. In this, MegaStar Chiranjeevi wants to impress the audience with his action and comedy scenes but the audience may also get angry with him. Because this film is not that impressive.
Despite being a remake movie, the audience would have expected good songs from this film, but the music composer of this film Mahati Swara Sagar was unable to please the hearts of the audience.
The director of this film is Meher Ramesh. After watching this film, it seems that he could not do his directorial work well. That’s why perhaps he failed to make the screenplay of this movie engaging and entertaining. Some comedy and action scenes of the first half may be liked by the audience but in the second half it seems that the story of this film has gone out of track. Then Chiranjeevi brings the story back on track.
Perhaps you may even get bored watching this film. A little more effort could have been expected in both the 1st half and 2nd half of the film. His acting is not that impressive that the audience can connect or relate to him. It seems that the actor is not acting but overacting.
Tamannaah Bhatia is playing the role of a lawyer in this film. She can be seen only for a short time in this film. His comedy acting is fine but more can be expected from him.
Bhola Shankar Review: Conclusion
Overall, this is a Telugu language action drama film. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Kerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia can be seen in this film. They all tried to give their best in the film. But even better acting performance could have been expected from all of them. There are many such scenes in it which you may find irrelevant. The screenplay of this film is a bit weak. It could have been made a little more interesting.
