Story and Plot

This story is about a man who started a party and that party is one of the biggest parties in India today. He covered the journey from ground level to the second most prestigious chair in the nation. This story explores the struggle-filled life of India’s 10th Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Positive Review

This is a biopic film based on the life of Late Atal ji in which his childhood, youth and struggle-filled life are shown. How he founded the party, how he rose to the post of Prime Minister of India and how he did important things after becoming the Prime Minister. All these journeys of his have been covered. He has worked a lot for the country, so I have a lot of respect for him from my heart.

He is one of the great personalities of Indian history and has contributed immensely. Many events of his life have also been covered. To keep the story engaging, a random love story has also been added, it is a total surprise.

Pankaj Tripathi has played the character of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He has tried his best to perform his best. He leads this show and acts in a brilliant way. No one can match the art and tone of speaking of Atal Ji, hence Pankaj is not able to hold on to the tone. At some places Pankaj could not carry this character well.

Apart from Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar, Daya Shankar Pandey, Payal Nair, the performance of the supporting cast was decent.

Negative Review

It fails at many places in taking the excitement to the next level due to which curiosity is not created to know the further story. The depth of its story could have been covered more so that the audience could connect easily. After watching the trailer, expectations from this film increase but it is not able to engage at that level.

Many events of his political journey have been shown but it does not create any impact. The presentation of the 2nd half could have been better. The makeup and getup of some characters could have been given a more real look touch. If this movie was presented by dividing it into parts or converting it into a series form, the engagement rate would have been greatly boosted.

Technical Review

Director Ravi Jadhav’s work is fine. He did the work of selecting and presenting a very good and interesting biopic, so thanks to him. But if he had covered the life of the main character in more depth then the experience level could have been up. But overall story is good.

BGM work by Monty Sharma is decent. Some songs are good. Bunty Nagi’s work is decent in terms of editing. Cinematography by Lawrence D’Cunha has done fine work. Production values are okay.

Main Atal Hoon: Conclusion

Main Atal Hoon is a biopic film which covers the life struggles of India’s most beloved 10th PM. This story revolves around his own life but the depth of the story could have been strengthened in some parts. The interest level remains normal in the 1st half and may go down in some parts of the 2nd half. Pankaj Tripathi’s performance is acceptable but no one can play the character of Atal Ji.
