Story and Plot
India has to face militant attack in Kashmir and after this incident, the country’s best combat aviators join forces and form a special team. Because there is a fear of a new danger and the further story revolves around the Indian Air Force.
Positive Review
This is the story of Airforce cadres who love their country very much and have to perform a special mission. Because the narration of the first half is good, it keeps you engaged and intro is also given in this part. It has good dialogues which are clap worthy.
Hrithik Roshan has played the character of Shamsher Pathania (Patty). His screen presence is very strong and he has made the action sequences enjoyable with his swag. Deepika Padukone has played the role of Minal Rathore (Minni). Her acting performance is decent and her and Hrithik’s bond is very interesting.
Apart from Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, the entire cast has done their best work. There are some scenes in the second half which make the atmosphere emotional and the climax part is engaging which can be enjoyed. Good VFX has been used by working on every small detail.
Makers have tried to show aerial scenes in a creative way. The aerial action shots captured are top notching. The Air Force has been presented in the right way and the way it works is also explained a little. Technically it does not disappoint the audience.
Negative Review
The concept of this story is good but its base could have been strengthened and the story could have been covered in depth. The goosebumps moment could have been made impactful and the characterization could have been solidified. In comparison to other patriotic films, its scenes are not elevated that well. Songs do not work in favor of the film because its placement is not that good.
Vandemataram song is very good but apart from this other songs and score cannot be liked that much. BGM was not that helpful in taking the experience to the next level. The writing of Karan Singh Grover’s character could have been improved a bit and the screen time could have been increased. Many bangster scenes could have been created in the 2nd half.
Technical Review
Director Siddharth Anand has worked to make the film engaging by presenting the story with good narration. Especially he has shown the aerial scenes in a very powerful way. Many dialogues match prefect with the scenes.
Songs and BGM did not contribute in taking the experience to the next level but the cinematography work done by Satchith Paulose has done a very impressive job. Especially he has put a lot of effort into capturing aerial scenes. Aarif Sheikh’s work is good in terms of editing. The VFX quality and production value are rich.
Fighter Movie: Conclusion
Fighter is an action-thriller film in which IAF aviators join together and complete the task to keep their country safe from the enemy. Its action scenes have made the moment gripping and Hrithik Roshan has given a commendable performance. Its story is good but can be a bit disappointing in some parts. Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor have also done a good job.
