Story and Plot
This story is about a person named Sagar who is the chief editor of Samachar Newspaper and a famous journalist. His life is going very well but many changes start coming in his life. He came to know that a newspaper can predict tragedies before they happen. He becomes a suspect in a murder case due to which many problems start appearing in his life. Is this prediction possible? Will Sagar be able to solve this problem? Will he be able to solve this mystery? The answer to this will be found in the series only.
Positive Review
Sagar’s life is shown. He is survived by his wife Priya and daughter Anjali. A newspaper predicts the tragedies happening in his life in advance. Sagar’s family is also in danger. After knowing this news, he starts finding out about the secret of this newspaper. The concept of the story is very clear and it has also been narrated properly. The focus has been on building up the story right from the first episode.
Naga Chaitanya has played the role of Journalist Sagar Varma. He leads this show and his performance is amazing. In this character, he has displayed the pain and emotion towards the family in a natural way. Priya Bhavani’s performance in the role of Sagar’s wife is good. Apart from Parvathy Thiruvothu, Anish Kuruvilla, Tharun Bhascker, Rohini, the acting performance of the entire cast is mature and good.
Thrilling moments can be experienced continuously in this. The story is very fresh and engaging. In this, the plot has been presented in a dark way which also has twists and turns. Character development is good. Climax is perfect. Hints of Season 2 have also been given. The length has not been stretched without any reason. Dubbing quality of other languages is good.
The BGM helps in creating an atmosphere of suspense well and the visual appeal is also solid. The presentation of the death scene makes an impact. A social message has also been delivered. In this many stories are well connected.
Negative Review
The concept of the story is good but its pacing sometimes becomes slow and sometimes fast. That means its pacing could be stable or maintained. Flashback scenes are also shown which may not seem as impactful. That scene could have been executed and presented in a better way. But the storytelling is convincing.
Technical Review
Vikram Kumar’s work in terms of directing is impressive. He has narrated and presented the simple type story very well. The writer has done the work of making its plot gripping. Cinematography by Mikolaj Sygula is okay. BGM is very interesting. Production value is good. Editing by Naveen Nooli is okay.
Dhootha Webseries: Conclusion
This is a crime thriller series in which the journey of a boy is shown. It may take up to 4-5 hours to watch its total 8 episodes. Its story works to engage completely. Along with crime, there is also thrilling and mystery which are captivating. The star cast has put in efforts to make the show interesting. It is a good option to watch it during the weekend.
