Story and Plot
At the beginning of the story, Viraj is shown who is a professional fashion photographer. He lives in a city with his 6 year old daughter Mahii. Mahi does not have a mother in her life, so she repeatedly asks her father about her mother but Viraj does not answer her. Viraj tells him that if you score first then you will get the answer to this question.
Mahii does that work but Viraj does not fulfill that promise. Because of this she gets irritated and leaves home. Mahi meets Yashna in an accident. Will Mahii come to know about her mother? Will Yashna enter Viraj’s life? Will Viraj agree to tell Mahi and Yashna about his wife? The further story will be known in this film.
Positive Review
This story is about a daughter who loves her father very much. In this, the pure bond relation between father and daughter has been explored in which emotion, feeling and pain are also shown. The story has been narrated very well which also has family drama in it. Many twists have also been added to keep the story engaging.
Nani has played the character of Viraj. He plays the role of a father in this and his performance in the role of a father is very amazing. The way he has expressed his father’s felling is heart touching. Baby Kiara has given her best performance in the role of Mahi. She has delivered the dialogue with confidence.
Mrunal Thakur has played the character of Yashna. Her performance is superb and her acting is the asset of this film. Her character has been developed very well. The chemistry between him and Nani is very interesting to watch and their scenes can be emotional. Mrunal’s work is outstanding in terms of performance.
The director has used the emotion factor well. Because of this the audience is able to connect very easily. The story remains stuck to its point. The plot is engaging which is why many things work.
Negative Review
The initial portion could have been made more entertaining because the love story does not work that much. The writing of that part can be improved further. The pacing is slow in some parts but comes back on track during the interval.
More effort is required to grab the attention of a large audience. All the songs are good but Odiyamma song could have been presented better.
Technical Review
Director Shouryuv has chosen a simple topic and presented it in a unique way. The execution of the story is strong which is why it is interesting and engaging. Dialogue has emotional punch. He has utilized the actor’s acting well. Visuals are also good.
Cinematography work done by Sanu Varghese really look good. The work of BGM and Music by Hesham Abdul Wahab is fine. Editing by Praveen Anthony is okay. Its length could have been reduced a bit. Production values are decent.
Hi Nanna Review: Conclusion
This is a family drama and romantic film in which the special relation between daughter and father is shown. There are many emotional and engaging moments in the story. Plot is very interesting. The performances of Nani and Mrunal are very good.
