Season 2 of Lust Stories is out on Netflix. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t seen season 1. Still you can watch season 2 easily. The stories of both the seasons have no connection with each other. Like the previous season, this season too has 4 different stories. And these stories also have no connection with each other. This film is an anthology film. Lust is a common part of every story. This entire film is of 2 hrs 12 min. This film is divided into total 4 parts. Four different directors have directed and presented their different stories.
Lust Stories 2: Story Review
1st Story: Made for Each Other
In this story a boy and a girl meet and fall in love. Then both their families go home to talk about their relationship. But the twist in the story comes when grandmother, the senior member of the house, asks both the children to leave the matter of love aside, both of you tell us how is your sex life in bed. It seems that grandmother wants to say that one should take a test drive before marriage.
A story explaining the importance of sex before marriage may seem like a cringe story. Actor Neena Gupta is playing the character of an Indian grandmother. She is a grandmother who talks about sex with her son and grandson without any hesitation.
Hardly any grandmother would talk like this to her children. The makers are trying to show the reality of sex to the Indian audience. It seems like it is being shown that if you don’t enjoy the first girl, try another, if you don’t enjoy the second, try the third.
2nd Story: The Mirror
Ishita comes home tired from office. When the door of the house opens, a mirror is seen on the wall. From the view of that mirror, she sees that her maid is romancing with a man on her bed. Ishita feels that this romance continues every day and now it is very difficult to stop their romance.
Ishita feels that she also gets aroused after seeing him having sex. After this, Ishita comes home early from office every day and watches their romance secretly with the help of mirror. After that there is a twist in the story.
This story has been directed by Konkona Sen Sharma. Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash are the actresses in this story, their acting was the best in the entire movie. In this story you are going to see a masterclass of acting.
3rd Story: Sex with the Ex
A married man is talking to his girlfriend while driving a car. He meets with an accident while driving a car. Then he goes to the nearby village to seek help. There he meets his first wife. The man felt that his first wife was dead. Then their old love rekindles and they start romancing. Now there is a twist in the story. Who tried to get the first wife killed? And if the first wife is dead then who is that woman with this man?
The director of this story is Sujoy Ghosh. It seems that this is just a story of lust. Which was made only to show the glamor of Tamannaah. Vijay Varma was to be used more in this story. There is no logic shown as to why such scenes have been created in this story. You may feel that more than half of this story has been shot in green screen. This story seems very predictable.
4th Story: Tilchatta
There is an old king named Suraj. He establishes his authority over any woman he wants. He marries a woman from a prostitute house. That woman also has a child. That king had not yet come out of lust. Now there is a twist in this story. You will laugh after seeing this twist. The twist is of murder. That murder is related to sex. When you see this story, you will not believe that such a twist or turn can happen.
This story has been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. There are two veteran actors in this story. The actor’s name is Kajol. In this story, you will see less sex and heart hitting content full of reality. There is an unexpected twist in this. This twist will shock you. This story is the most dangerous and thriller story of this film.
Lust Stories 2: Movie Review
This film tries to give a message through its story. Whereas the makers should know that the audience watches such movies not to learn anything but to have fun. An attempt has been made to give a hidden message through these 4 stories. In order to convey this message, many such scenes are shown which do not match the story at all. Double meaning is used to hype this movie. The biggest example is the story of Tamannaah and Vijay Verma of this film.
It seems that both these actors have been used as a poster. When you watch its scene, you will neither see any chemistry nor any natural feeling in it. The second best story is The Mirror, directed by Konkona Sen Sharma. Something new has been tried in this story. After that the 4th story is good which can be seen. This story has seriousness and a mind-blowing climax. The content of both these stories is strong. Along with lust, there is also a message in it. The best actors have worked in the casting of this film. But having talent and using talent are two different things.
Lust Stories 2: Conclusion
This entire film is an A rated film. Children stay away from this film. And the young man watched it alone wearing headphones. Because it also contains abuses and some intimate scenes. All these scenes are not at all for the immature audience. overall this film has 2 good and 2 bad stories. If you want to see, you can see. But watch this movie alone with headphones.
