After 30 years, an attempt has been made again to make a film like Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayenge. SatyaPrem Ki Katha An attempt has been made to make comedy romantic cinema for the family. This time the villain of this story is not the father but the villain of the love story is the heroine herself. SatyaPrem ki Katha has finally been released in theatres. There is not much hype about this film, hence not many people know about this film. Apart from copy and remake, this time the maker has tried something new. This film is going to give Gujarati experience to the audience.
SatyaPrem Ki Katha: Story Review
The story is of Satyaprem (Kartik Aaryan) aka Sattu. But their life is not going that well. He has become old enough to marry. But he is a loser in the eyes of his family. The boy dreams that he has to marry a beautiful girl. He falls in love with a girl and wants to marry the same girl. That girl’s name is Katha (kiara). Both of them get married. Their dream of marriage comes true.
The real suspense starts only after the marriage. Wife has come into Sattu’s life but his wife does not love Sattu. The girl had cut the vein of her hand before marriage. Now there are twists in this story. Why did Katha cut his vein? Will love be possible between katha and sattu? Now what is that twist and what is going to happen next in this story, it will be known only after watching the film.
SatyaPrem Ki Katha: Positive and Negative
This film is approximately 2 Hrs 26 min. SatyaPrem ki Katha is like a common story but perhaps you have not seen a movie like this movie till date. Kartik and Kiara have made the story of SatyaPrem ki Katha an extraordinary story. In the 1st half, the audience may feel that everyone is happy in this story and everyone is happy and positive.
But in the second half, it becomes a serious film and perhaps you will start connecting with the message of this film. Sameer Vidwans is the director of this film and he has used his directing talent very well. The songs of this film are of very cool type which will directly touch your heart. Listen to the songs in the first half, enjoy and you start connecting with the story. Kartik and Kiara’s chemistry is on fire.
Both of them have played such a character that you will feel that both Satyaprem and Katha are real people. Kartik’s screen presence is amazing. Perhaps every audience starts connecting with his character. Kiara’s character is very complicated in this film. He has hidden a secret with himself and this secret makes the story of this film interesting. Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak also have good supporting acting and screen presence. After a long time, Rajpal Yadav has also made a comeback in this film. This is a film which has dance, song, love, love story and suspense twist.
After watching the first half of this film, you may feel that its story is repetitive and predictable. But when you watch its second half, you will get to see something new. A social and emotional drama has been presented. There are 4 songs in the 1st half of this film and 3 songs in the 2nd half. The topics discussed in this film are for a slightly mature audience. This film is a one time watch movie. A little more effort could have been put into the climax of this film. In the last few scenes it may seem as if the film is being stretched.
