Tiku weds sheru has been released on OTT i.e. Amazon Prime Video. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur have worked as lead actors in this film. This is a Hindi language satirical romantic comedy-drama film. Which has been produced by Kangana Ranaut’s production company Manikarnika Films.
Tiku Weds Sheru: Story Review
The story is about a junior actor who plays a small role in the film. His name is Shiraz Khan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). He gets a photo of a girl for marriage. Because the girl’s face is very beautiful, he agrees to marry her. The name of that girl is Tasleem khan (Avneet kaur). She lives in Bhopal, Madhyapradesh. She wants to go to Mumbai and set up her film career. So she agrees to marry Sheru. Both of them get married.
But after marriage, Sheru comes to know that Tiku is pregnant. Because of this he becomes frustrated. Whose child is that? Will Sheru adopt Tiku’s child?.
Tiku Weds Sheru: Positive Review
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played the character of Sheru in this film. He has displayed his acting well. He is shown as a struggling actor in this film. He delivers many dialogues in it. His dialogue delivery and facial expressions can be nice to watch.
Avneet Kaur has played the character of Tasleem Khan aka Tiku in this film. This is her first film as a lead actor. She has played her character very well in this film. Her glamor can also be seen in this film. She has already done many TV shows like Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Chandra Nandini. The audience has liked his new character very much. Because she wins anyone’s heart with her acting and beauty. She has also used her emotions to give the final touch to Tiku’s character.
In this, Kangana Ranaut is seen in a special appearance. Khushi Bhardwaj and Zakir Hussain have played the characters well.
Tiku Weds Sheru: Negative Review
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has tried many costumes. In some ways this costume may look heavy. Nawazuddin’s acting skills could have been used a little more. Seeing him in many scenes, it may seem that he is behaving illogically. Nawaz has done many successful films in Bollywood. Many of his characters are still liked by the audience. But for some time now, perhaps the public is not being satisfied with his acting.
Avneet Kaur has worked hard in her acting in this film. But after a time her acting starts appearing over acting. She is a good and experienced actress but the audience is not able to relate to her character. She failed to please the audience with her acting. It is a good thing that she debuted as a lead actor but this debut film probably will not be able to give her a good level of popularity.
This is a lovestory type comedy drama film. So the love story angle of this film could have been shown in a better way. Be it a serious scene or an emotional scene, it is not able to captivate the audience. In one scene, when Tiku’s brother beats Tiku, no one comes to save him. You may feel a little odd watching this scene. Its story is very less impactful.
Tiku Weds Sheru: Technical Review
Many cringe scenes can be seen in this film. The climax of the film could also have been made a little more interesting. The story telling is very slow and the screenplay presence could have been made a little better. Its core may also appear a little weak. If we talk about drama, its drama is very poor. Be it the story or the characters of this film, the audience neither engages nor connects with it. Time somehow passes in the second half, but in the first half, many audiences start getting bored after watching this film.
Tiku Weds Sheru Review: Conclusion
Due to the slow storytelling of the first half, you may get bored. If comparison is made between 1st half and 2nd half, then 2nd half is slightly better. The screenplay of this film is very slow. Story telling could have been improved a bit. Nawaz’s talent could have been used better. Many abusive words have been used in this film and many adult scenes and kissing scenes can also be seen. This is not a family friendly film. This movie can be watched alone or with friends.
