Tiger Nageswara Rao: Story and Plot
At the beginning of this story, IB Chief Raghavendra Rajput (Anupam Kher) holds a meeting with Coimbatore officer Vishwanath Sastry (Murali Sharma) and some officials. In that meeting they all discuss things related to the security of the PM. Because PM is in danger from Tiger Nageswara Rao (Ravi Teja) and Tiger has already given warning to PM’s security. Then Vishwanath gives information about all the criminal records of Tiger Nageswara Rao and explains them. He explains why and how Tiger Nageswara became a criminal. As the story progresses, a new angle will also be seen in this story. What will happen next in this story will be known only after watching the film.
Positive Review
It is an action drama thriller and a biopic film. The research has been done in great detail and its presentation is good. Why did Tiger Nageswara Rao have to become a thief? How did he commit the crime? And how much trouble did the police have to face in catching them? All these things have been shown.
Its first half is very solid. Because trust has been created in this that the makers are working in a new way in the upcoming new films. This part is the most important part of this film. In which despite low VFX the director has shown an impressive intro scene. Train Heist looks very engaging and amazing and a thrilling moment can be felt while watching it. The presentation of Enemy’s Revenge is good. The story of the 70s has been given an old look touch which makes it look relatable. Many funny elements have also been added.
Ravi Teja has played the character of Tiger Nageswara Rao. His character is that of a dacoit. He is shown in a negative role in the first half. He succeeds in convincing with his role. Fans will be very happy after seeing the way he has shown his massy avatar. His performance is very outstanding that is why he is also famous by the name of Mass Maharaja. He looks very real in the criminal avatar. His new style is good. He gives a warning before committing the crime.
Anupam Kher’s character of IB Officer Raghavendra Rajput is good. He has been given more space in the 2nd half. After watching Jisshu Sengupta’s acting, it does not seem at all that he is acting. He has shown the feeling of anger, attitude and revenge in that role with great detailing. Nassar and Murli Sharma have also performed their work well. Renu Desai’s acting could have been given a little more space. The roles of all these cast have strengthened its story.
Negative Review
But that trust seems to be decreasing in the second half. At one moment it appears very interesting and engaging but by the time it reaches its end, it probably gives a boring feeling. After the twist of the second part, the essence seems to end. If the emotional scenes were handled in a better way, it could have become even more entertaining. The villain look has been shown to be as bad as it can be. But still it is a bit difficult to connect to it.
After some points it starts getting lengthy due to which the entertaining factor starts losing. After being lengthy, its story becomes predictable which becomes the end of curiosity. Twist and turn can also look silly. The enjoyment that was happening in the 1st half is not there in the 2nd half. It is enjoyable to watch because of its screenplay.
The Vfx in the train and background look weak. It does not look natural but despite all this, the design and background music of the train heist make that scene perfect. This is a heist film but apart from the train heist, no other great heist is seen. It is not able to create a moment of thrill and tension.
Tiger’s old events are shown in flashback. The present story has been covered and connected well with flashbacks. But the vfx of flashback may look weak. In this, our hero also falls in love with a girl but their love story could have been given a little more time. The story is narrated from the beginning for easy understanding. But as the story progresses the narration becomes weak.
Technical Review
Cinematographer R. Madhi has done his work with detailing. The audience may be disappointed after seeing its VFX because it is not that captivating. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao’s editing is okay. He could have done better in the 2nd half. The background music of this film is pleasant to listen to which has been added by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Some of its songs are good to listen to.
Dubbing in other languages has also been done well. The director of this film is Vamsee. His work is fine and he has put effort into research. The first half is very enjoyable, interesting and thrilling but the thrilling moments in the second part can be missed. Because the most important part of any film is its ending. But perhaps its ending could not satisfy the audience feeling. This part has been stretched a bit. The efforts to show the flashback story by connecting it with the present story are good. Both its production value and cost are good. Its producer is Abhishek Agarwal.
Tiger Nageswara Rao: Conclusion
This is a thriller and action film which covers the crime of Tiger Nageswara Rao. The first half shows the planning and execution of Tiger Nageswara’s crime. This part is very exciting and engaging. An attempt has been made to add emotional element in the second part but it is not that effective. In this part you may feel that the story is being made long. Its story is good but some of its elements like VFX could have been worked on a little more. Overall if you have free time then this is a one time watchable film.
