Story and Plot
This is the story of Gannu who consumes alcohol like everyone else in his village. His wife is pregnant. Fed up with his alcohol addiction, his wife vows to abort their child. After this, Gaanu would start demanding a ban on alcohol to give up his drinking habits. Will he be able to fulfill the demand for ban? The further story will be known in the film Dry Day only.
Positive Review
The story revolves around a character named Gannu who dreams of becoming a corporator of his area. His wife vows to have an abortion because of Gannu’s drinking habbit. Will he be able to fulfill his dream? The concept of this movie is good in which a social message has also been conveyed.
Jitendra Kumar has played the character of Gannu. He charms in this show. His acting performance is very good. Shriya Pilgaonkar has played the role of Nirmala. He has also acted very well.
Negative Review
Its topics are good but there is not much depth in it. The emotional core has not been worked on that well. The comedy part could have been made better. The character could also be explored in depth. Writing may seem a bit weak and needed work.
The essence of the village was not captured well. The way the atmosphere has been created, it could not seem more connectable and relatable. The climax part did not manage to deliver a good punch. The story progresses slowly but it is not convincing.
Technical Review
Director Saurabh Shukla’s work is okay. He is also its writer. Its comedy part could have been made even better. Music and BGM are okay. Kunal Valve’s work is fine in terms of editing. Cinematography and production value are decent.

Dry Day movie is a comedy drama film in which Gannu wants to become a corporator and wants to ban liquor. Emotional and comedy sections may not seem as strong. The character establishment can be done well. But the actor has acted well.
