Story and Plot
This story is about Shailaja Patankar who has recently become a victim of dementia. She is suffering from dementia so she wants to relive those childhood memories once before she forgets her memorable moments. She takes a break from her life and goes to her childhood home. When she goes to the sea shore, both her husband and her childhood lover accompany her. Will she be able to relive her memories? The further story will be known only in the film Three of Us.
Positive Review
The story is about a couple named Shailaja and Dipankar. Shailaja starts forgetting her memories so she goes to her village once. There she meets her childhood love. The topic of this film is very good which completely touches the heart. It also makes the eyes moist and makes one feel emotional.
Shefali Shah has played the character of Shailaja Patankar Desai. Her performance is amazing. Maturity is reflected in his dialogue delivery and silence. Jaideep Ahlawat’s performance is admirable. Apart from Swanand Kirkire, Neena Kulkarni, the entire cast has acted well.
Its ending may seem very satisfying. The character establishment is very strong and they are also loveable. Since the characters were grounded, it became easier to connect and relate to them. No character has been shown in a negative shade without any meaning.
Emotional parts work in favor of the film. The way the environment of the village has been created is very friendly. Many good village scenes have been seen which give a positive vibe. Detailed work has been done on Setup and Getup and presented. You may like BGM and Song.
Negative Review
It presents its topic slowly. Action film lovers may find its pacing a bit slow. Kadambari Kadam has been given slightly less screen space in the role of Sarika Kamat.
Technical Review
Director Avinash Arun’s work is impressive. He is also its writer. In terms of writing, he has strengthened the emotional moment. Production values are decent. The work of Music and BGM by Alokananda Dasgupta is impressive. Editor Sanyukta Kaza’s work is good. Cinematographer Avinash Arun’s work is brilliant.
Three of Us Movie: Conclusion
Three of Us is a drama film in which a woman is struggling with dementia and she re-explores her past life journey. The concept of this story is good in which many good emotional moments can be experienced. The performances of Shefali Shah and Jaideep Ahlawat are commendable.
