Ganapath: Story and Plot
At the beginning of the film, a poor family is shown who live in a very bad condition. Rich people live in silver city in which every type of hi-tech facilities are provided. Poor people cannot go to Silver City because there is a border between them. Only Ganapath can save the poor people from these atrocities and they all start waiting for Ganapath. Then enters Guddu, who is afraid of fighting and likes to dance. Is Guddu the same Ganapath? Will Ganapath be able to save those poor people? Will he be able to eliminate the wall between the poor and the rich man? The answer to all these questions will be found only when you watch this film.
Positive Review
This is a film based on a new concept like dystopian future. A war causes devastation in which people get divided into two parts. There is a wall between Ultra Rich and Poor people. Ring fight has also been added to make this story interesting. Overdramatic situations of love have also been created.
Tiger Shroff has played a dual role in it. He has played the characters of Ganapath “Guddu” and Dalini. He is very famous for his action performance. But his acting performance in this film is not that good. He should focus on improving his acting. Tiger’s action looks good but that action has been seen many times. At some moments, his action fight may even seem repeated.
Kriti Sanon has played the role of Jassi. Her work is fine but her character is not that impactful. Amitabh Bachchan played the character of Maharishi Dalapathi. He is Ganapath’s grandfather in this. His extended cameo is nice to watch. Climax scenes look good and look unique.
Negative Review
Dialogue delivery can be made better. Screenplay may look bad due to which it is not able to engage the audience. The VFX quality in this film may appear low as the VFX background in some scenes may not appear stable. Green screen may also be seen in a scene after the interval.
Songs may sound good but many songs do not match with the situation and seem illogical. Storyline is also affected because of the song.
Technical Review
The director and writer of Ganapath is Vikas Bahl. Something new can also be tried in the story. Vikas has worked in good films like Super 30 and Queen. Cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti’s work is okay. Work could have been done to improve the quality of VFX. Editor Ritesh Soni’s work is not impressive. In some scenes, green screen is visible which can be noticed. Visual effects could have been improved.
Ganapath Movie Review: Conclusion
The screenplay of the first half is a bit slow. It seems that the opportunity has not been used properly and has been wasted. This is Part One and the makers are probably preparing for Part Two. This film has disappointed the audience. Now how Part 2 will be and how much love the audience will give to that film, it will be known only after the release of the film.
