Story and Plot

Allius Caesar is shown at the beginning of the story. He is a famous criminal and gangster but he wants to become a film hero. He places a public advertisement looking for a film director. Many directors narrate the story but he would be happy with Ray Dason’s words. Because of this he would have chosen Ray as director. Ray Dason offers to make a film based on the life of Allius, a gangster story. But he has many enemies who want to kill him. Will Allius Caesar’s film be made? How many changes will come in his life while making the film? The answer to this will be known only after watching the film.

Positive Review

Even if you have not seen the first part of this film, there will be no problem in understanding it. Worked with authenticity in the shoot, environment creation and presentation of jungle art and set design.

Raghava Lawrence played the role of Gangstar Allius Caesar. His two different looks can be seen in this. The maker has used his acting potential very well. He has worked with dedication to perform his best and superb performance.

S. J. Suryah plays the role of ex-cop Kirubakaran. He is an important asset of this film. In this he has shown his best performance. Her and Lawrence’s scenes look exciting to watch. Nimisha Sajayan fits the role of Malaiyarasi. His acting in the climax portion is excellent.

Its story is meaningful and presentation is also good. There are many twists and turns which makes its second half engaging and emotional. In some scenes the audience is not able to handle the emotional sentiment. Therefore, its story should be seen by a wider audience. The visual effect of elephant in forest scene is good. A message related to nature is also delivered.

Negative Review

The first part focuses on the introduction and build up of the character. And the environment has been made friendly. Its pacing may seem slow. There may be boring feeling in some portions and some flaws may also be noticed. But the last 30 minutes will give you a next level experience.

The dubbing of Hindi and Telugu languages is average and songs in these languages may sound bad. Scene transitions create tension in the 2nd half but it may not seem effective in the 1st half. And it may feel stretchy at some moments.

Technical Review

Director Karthik Subbaraj has chosen a good story and presented the message smartly in an entertaining way. But the narration could have been improved in some parts. All the actors have done a good job. Production values are rich.

Music and BGM by Santhosh Narayanan are of top quality. The work of Editor Mohamed Ali is okay because some scenes could have been trimmed and made a little shorter. Cinematographer Thirunavukkarasu’s camera moments are very good. He has made us experience something new. The makeup artist has given a new look to the character. Work has been done in framing and lighting.

Jigarthanda DoubleX Review: Conclusion

Decent comedy can also be seen in the interesting story. Emotional scenes are very impactful. The climax has been made powerful and mind blowing. The 2nd half is very engaging but the 1st half could have been better. The actual power of cinema can be felt in the ending.
