This story is about Rocky and Rani. Both of them belong to very rich families. as usual like we watch Karan Johar’s films. There are family issues in this family also. Rocky and Rani love each other very much. These two do family exchange to understand each other. And will have to stay with that family for 3 months. They will get married only if they both spend a good 3 months with each other’s families. Will Rocky and Rani be able to spend 3 months with each other’s families? Will Rocky and Rani’s love story be successful? Will these two be able to get married? I don’t want to spoil the story of this film. Therefore, you will know the answers to all these questions only after watching the film.
Rocky Aur Rani Review: Positive Point
This Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani film, directed by Karan Johar, has been released in theatres. This film is approximately 2 hrs 48 min long. In the first half of this film, family drama, family emotion, love emotion and Ranveer’s comedy are seen. Actually, this is not a love story of 2 people but of 4 people, first of Ranveer and Alia and second of Dhramendra Deol and Shabana Azmi. There are many romantic scenes in this film of Dhramendra and Shabana. The love of 1970’s and 2022 are shown parallel.
In this film, the comic timing and dialogues of Ranveer’s character will bring laughter to your face. Whenever Ranveer is on the screen in the first half, there will be comedy and you will laugh. After watching the entire film, perhaps you will find this film to be a female centric story. Where many messages of women empowerment are given. It is a good thing to give the message of women empowerment. But that message is drawn from the beginning till the end.
In this story, the point of family exchange is good and many issues occurring in the society are also shown. You may also feel these family issues. Some people may find this film useless and some may find it good. The location and background setup of this film is grand and beautiful. This setup will satisfy your feeling. Ranveer has given a very good performance. Anyone can connect with this character. He is a different person in the beginning of the film and he transforms in the ending. The transformation of his character is good.
Ranveer’s job is to do comedy but in the scenes when he is sad, the entire theater becomes silent. Ranveer attracted Alia’s attention towards himself. The dialogues of this film are also good. That dialogue has been put into the story very creatively. People can remember the character of Alia’s father in this film. He is not a big actor but still people liked this character a lot. There is fun in the 1st half but there is emotion in the 2nd half. The songs are also quite good. “Tum Kya Mile”, “What Jhumka?” And you might also like the song “Ve Kamleya”. Overall, this film is a comedy family drama type movie. The new thing is that they switch to each other’s family. And you will easily understand the rest of the story.
Rocky Aur Rani Review: Negative Point
The love between Alia and Ranveer seems only filmy. Their love doesn’t seem natural at all. There are too many songs in it, the songs should have been less. Karan Johar has used a little extra music in this movie. The entry of each character is done repeatedly with music. BGM could have been used better. Seeing Ranveer’s acting, all your complaints will end. It seems that Alia has not been able to come out of her 2 state character. Didn’t feel special seeing him. She acts confident but in some scenes you may find her overconfident.
Some scenes may seem illogical to you. Like, when Ranveer and Alia have an accident on the road. Then no one there inquires about their health. There are about 5 kissing scenes in this movie. There is also liplock kissing. There are no characters in this movie who can be remembered. The climax of this film could also have been made a little better. It is up to you to decide whether you want to watch this film or not.
