Positive and Negative Review

This story is based on true event. On 2 December 1984, MIC gas leaked from Bhopal factory and thousands of people lost their lives. Many people risked their lives to save themselves from this gas. Maker chose the unqiue topic Bhopal gas tragedy and told people about this incident and the hero of the untold story. For this they are praised. Many events have been well connected and executed. There is also a government angle in this.

The real events have been properly adopted in the plot. The character’s personal life and professional life are well connected. Screenplay is fast paced. The connection with the character has been built from the very beginning and has been well developed. True event has been given a real look touch to make it seem relatable. Kay Kay Menon played the role of Station Master Iftekaar Siddiqui. The flow of his character is excellent and the acting seems pure natural. R. Madhavan has played the role of GM Rati. His acting is superb. Menon and Madhavan are the biggest assets of this show. The character of Babil Khan is well narrated and developed. He has shown his talent well. Divyenndu and Dibyendu Bhattacharya have contributed a lot to the plot.

Sunny Hinduja (Sandeep Bhaiya) impressed in the acting of a journalist. Juhi Chawla Mehta’s role is small and she has been given limited space but her work is good. The role of both of them creates impact. Its shooting has been done mostly in real location Bhopal which makes the setup look real.
