The Trial Review: Positive and Negative
There are total 8 episodes of this series. Each episode is of approximately 40 to 43 minutes. It may take about 5 hours of audience’s time to watch this series completely. After watching this series, the 5 hours spent may not seem worth it. The story of this series was to be shown in a flow but this series seems to deviate from its story again and again. If the focus had been on the main story only, its episodes could have been less.
The first episode starts with its main story. But from the 2nd episode its story goes out of the track. It seems that that story has been brought on track in the 5th episode. Different cases are shown except the main case. It seems that the main story has been added only for a short time. To make this series lengthier, many different cases have been added so that it can engage the audience.
Watching the first episode may seem interesting and engrossing. But as the story progresses, the audience’s interest in this series starts to wane. What is going to happen in the climax, what is the twist and suspense. You can guess this easily. If we talk about thrill, very few thrill scenes have been shown in it.
The writer has made the screenplay very lengthy. In some scenes it also seems that One Plus phone is being advertised. All the court room dramas shown in this series do not seem hard hitting or impactful at all. If all its episodes are compared, then perhaps the audience may find only its 7th episode interesting. But the 8th episode becomes totally predictable.
Rajeev Sengupta’s character could have been shown with a little more details. His screen presence could have been shown for a little more time. Sheeba Chaddha has played the character of Malini Khanna in this show. Her character has also been completely wasted in this. British-Pakistani actor Aly Khan has played the role of Vishal Chaubey in this show. He has also previously appeared in Don 2. He has done a good job in this
The Trial Review: Technical
The cinematography of this show is good. Many of the frames are so amazing that it is fun to watch. Kajol’s acting performance is quite good. She has played the character well. The BGM and dialogues of this show can be seen well. This series could have been made a little more thrilling. The arguments that take place in the courtroom may seem good. But that case is not shown in depth.
The Trial Review: Conclusion
Below the belt words and abuses have been used in some scenes of this series. There are kissing scenes in many of its episodes. The story of this series deviates from its main story in many episodes. The story may seem a bit lengthy. Those who have time to waste 5 hours can watch this series comfortably.
