Positive Review

There is a common family in which many members have some diseases. The girl’s father wants to get her married but does not want to discuss the girl’s problems with the boy’s family. The girl wants to discuss about her illness and she does not want to lie to anyone. Umesh Shukla has added many new things in this film and an attempt has been made to make the story interesting.

Paresh Rawal has played the character of Navjot Singh. He has done his best and looks perfect in that role. His dialogue could have been made stronger. Abhishek Banerjee’s acting performance is good.

The problem of a girl has been highlighted. Situational comedy has been created from lies. There is a twist and turn in it which looks very interesting to watch.

Negative Review

The screenplay may seem slow in many places. This is a family comedy film but comedy dialogues may seem missing in it. Overacting of some actors can be observed in some moments. Detailing in the background setup could have been done as it looks artificial in some places.

The audience is not able to connect with the purpose for which the situation has been created. Because of this, it affects the plot and is unable to engage the audience. At some points it feels like the situation has been created forcefully and the story is being stretched. Because of this, some boring moments can also be experienced in the second half.

Mrunal Thakur has played the role of Paro Singh. Her acting may look decent in this film. Her role could have been made impactful. Romance and lovestory elements have been added to make the story engaging. The love story angle of Mrunal and Abhimanyu may seem weak. Their chemistry can be made stronger.

Technical Review

Umesh Shukla has directed this film. His work may not seem that impressive because the moment could have been made even more exciting. Screenplay and music may seem average. Cinematographer Sameer Arya’s work is normal. Production Value is decent. Writer Jitendra Parmar’s work is okay.

Aankh Micholi Review: Conclusion

Aankh Micholi is a Mediocre Comedy Drama film. In the first half the story seems entertaining and engaging but in the second half the director has to struggle to maintain the entertainment. This film may disappoint a comedy filmy lover but the comedy is good in many of its moments.
